EIG works closely with company owners to tailor debt, equity or hybrid investment structures to meet each situation's unique requirements. We typically invest with 5 to 10-year time horizons but will consider shorter-term, bridge loans in time-sensitive situations.

Regardless of whether we are investing in debt or equity, our primary focus is on a company's intrinsic or "going concern" value. This viewpoint differentiates EIG from traditional, bank-oriented capital sources which emphasize collateral values and personal guarantees.
